In short: Destie is yours to use for learning, your cards belong to you, and Apple's standard licence applies. Please keep your iPhone backed up: your cards live only there.
Who provides Destie
Destie is provided by Emre Akdas, an independent developer in Türkiye ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Destie, you agree to these terms.
Licence
Destie is licensed, not sold, to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add to it; where they disagree, the Standard EULA applies.
Your cards
- What you write in Destie is yours. We don't see it, store it or claim any rights to it.
- Your data is kept only on your device. We can't recover it if it is lost, so keep your iPhone backed up through iCloud or a computer.
- You are responsible for what you put on your cards, including respecting other people's rights, for example when you copy from textbooks.
Using Destie fairly
Please don't use Destie to break the law, and don't copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the app except as the law allows.
Changes to Destie
We work to improve Destie and may add, change or remove features in updates. We may also update these terms; the latest version is always on this page, with its date.
No guarantees
Destie helps you study, but it can't promise results: how much you remember is up to you and your cards. The app is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those the law requires, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages, or for lost data, arising from its use. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you live elsewhere, the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country still apply to you.
