Common questions
My reminders don't arrive
- Check that Notifications is on in Destie's Settings, and allowed for Destie in iOS Settings › Notifications.
- Reminders only come on days with cards waiting, between 10:00 and 20:00, and stop once you've finished for the day.
- A Focus mode may be holding them back. You can allow Destie in that Focus.
- Opening Destie now and then keeps them up to date: reminders are planned a week ahead.
A widget shows old numbers
Widgets refresh every hour, at midnight and when you study. Opening Destie once updates them straight away.
How do I change Destie's language?
In Destie, go to Settings › Language, or in iOS Settings › Destie › Language. Destie, its widgets and its reminders switch together.
How do I change my daily goal?
In Settings › Daily goal, choose how many new cards and reviews a day you'd like.
Can I move my cards to a new iPhone?
Yes: set up the new iPhone from a backup of the old one (iCloud or a computer), and your cards come along. Destie doesn't sync between devices.
How do I delete my data?
Delete a list from its menu (press and hold it on the home screen), or delete the app to remove everything. Nothing is kept anywhere else.
Can I see the intro again?
Yes, in Settings › Help › Watch the intro again.
